Established in 1969, by Mrs. Elizabeth Von Kleinsmid, the University of Southern California Town & Gown Jr. Auxiliary of Orange County ("Town & Gown Jrs.") is a support group of alumnae and friends of the University. The purpose of the organization is to raise funds for scholarships given to USC undergraduate students from Orange County, who have shown both academic and community service excellence. The scholarships are awarded to new students each year and support them throughout their USC career. Funds for the scholarships are raised through an annual benefit each Spring.

Mission Statement — The purpose of this organization shall be to raise funds for scholarships to be given to University of Southern California undergraduate students from Orange County selected by the organization. The Organization promotes our members' involvement and participation in University related activities and provides a direct link for its members to the Alumni Association of USC and its resources. This organization is tax exempt and shall be non-profit, non-secretarian and non-political in all activities.

The USC T&G Jr. Auxiliary of OC is officially recognized by the University. The group falls under the Alumnae Coordinating Council ("ACC") whose purpose is to encourage interest and participation by all alumnae and interested friends in the University and the USC Alumni Association.
